Hi Everyone,

Today we are heading via Linda Ledbetter of Studio L3, to the Pocket Watch, Tim Holtz: A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 2, page 35 sponsored by Simon Says Stamp who are giving a $25 prize.

I have loved doing this project, looking through my stash for small (really small) embellishments to put in it.  I have used part of a backing paper from Bisous, metal and paper words(together, home, love and happy) by AMM and silver embellishments, from the Stampers Gallery, Tarleton(tag on the left) who have a lovely selection. I have cut a love heart out in plastic and coloured it in with Promarkers.

I have put a circular piece of plastic behind the glass after running an embossing tool through it, to make it look like there is a crack in the fob to make it look well used!

Take care, speak soon

Sue

Sue, this is just magical! Your embellishments are perfect, and your idea to use the plastic to create a cracked look is just brilliant. Great job!!!

Very, very cool! Love your idea of faux-cracking the glass.

That is a good idea! I love your choice of metal tidbits to use too.
