Hi Everyone

Today I have made a tag with Christmas in mind and I know some of you are already getting crafty for that time of year!

I firstly started with Kraft card and die cut a Tim Holtz Alterations Tag, then covered it with distress ink in orange, pink, purple and red which created a rather pink rainbow effect on the tag. I then ran it through an Tim Holtz Christmas embossing folder.

I then cut out some Heartfelt Creation flowers and spritzed with cosmic shimmer inks and whilst wet added clear embossing powder.  The Marianne flowers are inked up with distress inks and dot peel offs added for the centres.  The grass area and woman silhouette are Marianne Dies and the quote is from Dylusion.

‘You can’t have everything, where would you put it?’

The silhouette and the scroll have been inked with Versamark and heat embossed with WOW Brass embossing powder.  The words have been stamped in Versamark and set WOW ebony embossing powder.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Vintage Stamping Challenge – Pretty in Pink
Craft Room Challenge – Heat Emboss

Fab tag – the embossed background is very cool – and I love that it's Christmassy without being too Christmassy! Great sentiment too…
