Here’s lookin’ at ya….

Hi Everyone
2013_1116nov130006.1.jpg
This week at Stampotique is ‘One Layer’
I started with a tag and stamped Eric in memento ink and coloured him in with Promarkers.  I then painted a layer of glue and seal over the top of him.  This is a fab product for ‘layering’ as you can add further inks on the top of your project then buff it off as it creates a seal on the coloured in part.  You don’t have to be careful either as it looks quirky painted out of the lines.
I then stamped out Eric’s head and coloured it in then painted the glue and seal. Over the top of this came a Spellbinder nesti shape aperture and I inked this with distress ink then buffed off the excess over the stamped image. Again applied glue and seal.
I then used distress inks to make a background – yes you guessed it -over both images and buffed the excess ink off.  Then added background Bo Bunny stamps in different colours.
I then wrote the title
MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL
In black pen and highlighted with a white pen.
Hope you have a fab week
Sue

Love this tag, Susan! Super colors–bright and cheery, humor in your sentiment (which I absolutely love!), and a perfectly colored image! A win-win-win for me!!

What a great idea to use Glue and Seal to mask him. I'll have to try that.
