sequin at a time.”
― Lady Gaga

Hi Everyone

Welcome to 2016 and I'm sure for some of you crafters the resolution is to do more CRAFTING - yeah!

I have started off by completing 2 weeks of

Stampotique challenges

'Sequins' SDC 224 and
'Alphabet' SDC 225.

WOW DEC15 007.2

I do not make new year's resolutions. The only thing I do in excess is be

awesome, I'm not going to stop that in 2016.

I started by making backgrounds out of the new Distress Inks, then splashing water on the top and allowing the water to soak into the ink making the ink come off the background.  Then I dabbed it with kitchen roll.

I then took some Tim Holtz stamps and stamped backgrounds with 'hickory smoke' distress ink.

'Nina' was stamped out and coloured with pencils and cut out, as was 'Sheer'

Nina's spots on her dress were highlighed with sequins covered in glitter.

A girl can't have too much bling!

The 'A' was stamped out and cut out. the other letters were punches.

The sillouette of the birdhouse was made out of MDF and painted black.

The jewels were stuck onto the background flower centres.

Hope 2016 is an Awesome year for you and lots of ideas and crafting are part of your mojo!
